BIOGRAPHY
Manuel Blandino-Rosano, Ph.D., is a Research Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. He received his doctoral degree in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan, where he also did his post-doctoral training. He joined the faculty of the University of Miami in 2015
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Dr. Blandino-Rosano’s research interests have primarily focused on understanding pathways and mechanisms related to the development of Beta cell regeneration/proliferation, Growth factor-mediated pancreatic beta-cell replication and signaling and lastly Islet transplantation.
